Carbon Filter a Necessity?

Is a carbon filter a necessity with an indoor grow tent? Thank you!

Entirely up to you, your situation and the size of your balls. The Carbon filter is there to reduce smells, so typically if you are forced to grow inside for some reason then a carbon filter is a good idea unless you really dont mind your street and any household visitors knowing you grow.

imo I would get a filter cannabis stinks some more than others. then on the other hand iv got 2 lots of  family that have been growing for over 10 years with no filters I don't know how that haven't been busted I longer see them ha ha .

I grew without a filter the plant was ripped the day before harvest, I'm just thankful it wasn't the cops

What do you recommend I use for a carbon filter? Any links to any products? Also how will it mask the smell when I have to constantly open the tent to water/feed nutes to the plants? Please explain. Thank you!

I am using a can filter, works great! If your exhaust fan is pulling more air out of the tent, than what is being brought into the tent, you get a thing called negative presuure. Even with the tent door open, a lot of the smells wont escape.

It's madness to grow without i think. You can sleep comfortably at night for the sake of a few hundred bucks.

 I would not grow with out one . Using  phat filter past few years working well . Mine eliminates all odors , when i walk in my shed i smell nothing .

I take the plants out to feed and they are never out long enough for the smell to get very far .

What do you recommend I use for a carbon filter? Any links to any products?

 

 What i recommend you use a carbon filter for a  carbon filter . Google it . You get what you pay for remember
