Pain, and muscle spasms. Both can be legally treated by opiates and synthetics. Opiates that are far more addictive than most substances, and synthetic drugs that, from personal experience, come with a multitude of side effects, some detrimental to a persons health and well being. Medicinal cannabis is naturally derived, and to my knowledge, fatality free.

Choosing how to control, or cure ones illnesses is always left to somebody else, who is not experiencing said illness. If a person is suffering, it is humane and moral to try to ease their suffering in any way possible. If that person chooses to ease their suffering using natural, as opposed to synthetic or more dangerous natural remedies, then is it not humane and moral to support these people in their time of need? Furthermore, how can you justify continuing with these fanatical outbursts about cannabis, without first reading The emperor wears no clothes. Jack Herer, ( R.I.P.), penned this in order for the misguided, such as yourself, to learn the truth about cannabis. Afterwards, if you are still overly concerned, legalise cannabis wholly, so the medical world can finally have legitimate access to the various strains that are out there, and finally commit to proper research and possibly, development.
