2013-2014 guerilla grow

Recommended Posts

Hey all, so the time to start my adventure in a few months is coming up, the last few weeks I've been walking countlessly through swamps, bush, and thick scrub to find a location. So far I've found and decided on two ideal spots,

#1 is in a marsh/swamp, but is only wet in the winter, and dry in the summer months. Nice open area with plants and foliage at least 5ft all round for at least 300m then dense bush.

#2 is in a secluded area of dense bush, it has lots of healthy plants and grass, a decent clearing in the canopy. Choppers would have to know its there to even pick it up.

#3 still searching..

I'm not worried about passér bys stumbling upon my beauties. As my area/s are secluded and noone ever goes there, I know that for a fact.

Im hoping to have 3 plots ready to go by mid September, each with 5-10 plants in each, as I'm growing bagseed of different from killer smoke I've had.

And will be aqquiring 2 clones, don't know what strain. But it's the best smoke if had. It's an indica dominant. With a sweet fruity smell, and STRONG pineapple like tatse.

Alright let's get down to my plan of attack,

Dig enough holes at each plot, 3ftx3ftx2ft deep, fill with potting mix and maybe some coco.

Watering: in the next few weeks, I'll be setting up two bins one 1ft in the ground, and the other next to it, but leaning over, so any overflow fills the second bin, still undecided on what to

Use to catch the water, think some old green roofing iron. Dark Green of coarse for camo.

I'll be starting the bag seed indoor under a 125w cfl, I've got one indoor grow under my belt, so

I should be right there.

Any advice is welcome!

Follow if you like! Will post pics of the grow areas soon, having trouble on my phone.

Kkushman out.

Would personally avoid marshes and swamps. Firstly, gonna be a shitload of insect larvae just waiting for the better conditions to arrive, before hatching in their thousands on a bit of a feeding frenzy, and secondly, marshes and swamps are areas that collect runoff water, usually contaminated with fertilisers and pesticides from further upstream of the flow. No idea what has run into your area, or what your plants, if they reach maturity, will end up with in the finished product.

Regardless, best of luck with your grow:-), don't forget to post a diary or pics, love the great outdoors.

I've read and thought of that, Ive got alot of knowledge about the area. The area in the swamp/marsh, should be right as it isn't right down in the swamp, and the fact, during summer there's no water there what so ever. As to do with lavae, I'll take it as it comes, I've got 3 areas, all in different areas, only one in the swamp. First guerilla/outdoor grow, 3 areas = 3 different learning experiences.

Will be posting every week or so, and upload pics when I work out how to from iPhone :)

Awesome brother! Looking forward to it. Just a little experiment I'm conducting at the moment, got a couple started outdoors, in the middle of winter!? Looks like they are in stasis at the mo, which is what I was hoping for. Even if growth is minimal over the next couple of months, so long as they don't go into flower, I'm hoping to finish off with a monster outdoor plant, hopefully in time for next years Mardi Grass:-) The strain, Jack Herer, the two plants are the ones I pulled from the airponic system about a month ago.post-50453-0-40286100-1371521038_thumb.jpg Peace:-)

Cheers man!

Getting a early start on the lady's ;) should be able to get a HUGE plant over that time period!

How about the frosts in area? I know there a problem here, no point planting till they have passed in my area :(

Definatly looking forward to seeing the rest of your experiment! :)

Thinking about starting some early ones indoors next week, I got "what he said" was pineapple express seeds, I know he grows this strain himself, so they could be it, as it's the only genetics I'll have this year I reckon.

Peace out burner! :)

Hey Kushman

when scouting for sites can i suggest

when you've found your poss location you really need to consider

you prob need to know what conditions are like during the summer

as burner said you need to know what happen to the area once it warms up

where's the sun hit the ground for majority of the day & where's the shade

sun sits high in the sky compared to winter

Hey burner

Do'in the same as you my brother except i'm inside till end sept, early oct

In ya pic mate , which could be deceiving they look quite close to each other

do you think you have enough spacing for two monsters to live happy

Glad to see your aboard this years new expidition magpie!:)

Decided to plant some "meant to be" pine apple express last night, I've got them under my 125w cfl, now just to wait for then to pop up :)

I'll be sexing them and maybe cloning, as this is just an experiment with topping pruning etc, then will put out in the plot once they are big enough to "fend for them selfs" :)

Will keep yous updated every few days! :)

Any advice for uploading pics through mobile will be handy! As I have lost my lappy charger :(

Take it easy, kkushman!

Hey Kkush, bring on the outdoor grow.  Should have some well established plants by the time Tassie's outdoor season starts up.  I am assuming you got the photoperiod variety of Pineapple express, not the autoflowering, hope it's got a reasonably short bloom period so you can harvest before things get too nasty down there in Autumn.

I load pics onto my comp using my wireless network, and an app for my phone to do it, but only cause I'm too lazy to hook up a cable, then I upload onto here from my computer.  If you can't do this, then probably easiest to buy a cable of ebay.

Good luck.
