Gogo juice mate for beneficial bacteria get it from bunnings cheap and can use it in other parts of garden too . A little bit goes a long way

Thankyou very much! I've been trying to find more budget friendly alternatives to the canna nutes. This should be an equiv to Cannazym I take it?

The missus would probably feel a bit less guilty using the nutes on her vegies too then

i have 2 pc fans but i don't have an adapter for them or a pcu . will try and do something abt it. do you think that switching from 24 to 18 hrs of light would shorten the harvest time ? or i should stick to the 24 hrs on till my harvest ?

Do you have any spare external HDD adapters lying around? the ac units output in the same voltage a PC uses so you could butcher one to plug your fans into (it's what I did, but I have lots of junk lying around)

I chopped the plug of a 9volt dc adaptor I had lying around to run a couple of pc fans in a veg cabinet, works fine.  Have also heard of people doing the same with old phone chargers, car batteries etc.

 

Don't know if cutting back from 24 to 18 hrs will shorten flower time, but I am a firm believer in giving them a dark period.  Like everything else in nature, they need a chance to rest, and I read somewhere that there are some processes that the plant can only do properly during the dark period (that's hearesay, not gospel).  I have also seen plants continue to put on growth overnight in the dark, so don't really see a downside, others will disagree though.

well i guess i'll just leave them with 24 and just wait for some 20-25% trichs to become amber . Should that give enough of a couchlock effect or more amber is needed.Also how do you calculate that more accurately ? do you inspect each side of each bud ? From what i also understand is that if i harvest a little later with more amber i will have heavier,denser buds.Is that right ?

don't have any spare pc hardware or cables lying in my house i found some pics on the net on how to hook up the pc fans to a power source but i lack everything except the fans .
