CFM Needed?Help please

Hi

cfm needed for 25 cubic foot room?
 
buying a 4inch inline filter to push 135cfm
 
is that overkill?

Hey Bala, I don't mean to sound rude, but if you go into the cannaversity, you will find a grow room calculator that is going to answer pretty much any question you may have in relation to your set up. I've used it a few times myself, its been put there by those in the know. That said, I'm always gonna offer any help I can, as will many others, as your grow progresses. It's one of the many things I love about this site:-) peace.

Question is a little oddly worded.... With the 135cfm fan in a 25 cubic foot room you'll change your air about 5.4 times in a minute.

Going this way you will require a fan with a flow rating of at least 27.0 Cubic Feet per Minute

Additional Comments

Getting to these points and or over it is highly reccomended the grower use Co2 in their room as your plants will only be able to photosythesise a certain amount of light before needing a Co2 boost to benifit

 

i seem to have way more then recommended(400 mh/hps as well). can this be detrimental to the plants in anyway ?

Heya Bala =)..... 25ft sq growing area .... 150mm Centrifual fan for 400wer, inlines are for smaller areas, and for when your not using a carbon filter on it.

That will ventilate properly. 150mm 'inlines' are for cooltubes and small grow cupbaords with CFL's. Peace. Nibbler.
