Please critique my plants - 4 weeks [VID][PICS]

Recommended Posts

Stick with soil if that's what you want to do and follow imagardners diary, he seems to have a handle on the soil grows. I've used Searles premium potting mix, it works great indoors even though it is a little slower in veg growth.

If those seedlings are turning yellow it's because there is little nutrient in the potting mix........ honestly I'd just repot them in a 75/25 coco/perlite mix now while they are still happy, in 10 - 20 litre pots, buy some good quality nutrient, some pH down, some Cannazyme to build up a healthy 'organic style' rootball and watch them power on :)

Canna stuff works well bala , used by many for good results  . Those nutes will have you set . If you really use the cannazyme as per instructed you may need 2 lts  i found i use more of it then the other nutes .

The results will speak for them selves man . Just remember . Add your Coco a/b nutes to water , adjust ph to about 5.8 . then add your additives ie. seasol, cannazyme etc..

Plenty of coco growers here so there is always someone help if you have a Q .

Have fun with it :)

There is many a reason why we choose to grow, one being to save our hard earned. Bala, I understand your frustration with your first grow, but if saving dollars is on your agenda, get a feel for the plant before you invest some serious dollars on a nutrient program. I won't critique your plants, but your soil needs amending. You need to get some sort of food in there for the plants to kick off with, and worm castings is a good start. Mix equal amounts of what you are currently using with an equal amount of castings, and let them grow.

Only use fertiliser during the flowering period, try superbloom bat guano, and a little seasol.

Try to feed with weaker solutions more often, rather than a full dose weekly, as the plants only consume so much on a daily basis. Being a first grow, I can only assume you are spending every free moment with your little ones, so any changes will get picked up on pretty early if a problem arises. There's plenty of assistance to be had on this site regarding these matters:-)

All I can say is best of luck, don't be too stressed out about getting it right first time, most don't, but don't go blowing money needlessly early on by investing in a complete nutrient program, as most still require fine tuning for our favourite herb. Stick with soil and bagseed for now, until you feel confident in your knowledge of the plant.

I only say this because I made the error of spending big from the outset on nutes. Having the same results now with Bunnings products, at a fraction of the cost.

Bro, this is over 600 bucks worth of nutrients, this little fella here, costs more than 100.post-50453-0-39659300-1370605727_thumb.jpgpost-50453-0-25088700-1370605769_thumb.jpgThis batch is mostly from Bunnings, less than 150, and capable of achieving what the H&G range can do in soil.

I'll leave it up to you, but your gonna need some additives if you go down the coco path on your next plantings. Multi Zyme and a flowering booster at the very least, another 120 bucks on top of your base nutrients. The most important thing though, just have fun growing them, and don't be shy to ask for help, someone in the community is bound to have an answer to any questions you may have.:-) Peace.
