ph at 6.5.

temp at 26 degrees celcius(78 degrees farenheit)

humidity quite high between 50% and 70%

Thanks in advance.

Lookin good for soil, which can be tricky indoors... coco suits indoors much better and is much easier in a lot of ways... It's exactly like using soil except you get to use hydro nutrient :) you've got a cool looking setup so that would be you next step I feel... as long as you have some HPS lighting of course.

Those seedlings are healthy now but they will need lots of light for strong growth as well as nutrient in the correct amounts, as I'm sure your aware... it's when you start getting your hands dirty that the reasons why indoor growers grow the way they do becomes more clearer. Good luck and much respect for anyone who posts a grow pic :good:

all the embroyonic leaves off all the plants are yellowing - i assumed this was due to it finishing up the nutrients from them in the seedling stage and are now usings its leaves to make nurients via photosynthesis....

so this means i have a nutrient deficiency?

how can i test for this?

what nutrients do you recommend i use?(keep in mind im in australia so please advise nutrients available worldwide)

fyi this is my first time growing...and these seeds are just bagseeds that i had. im trying to learn and make mistakes with these plants before i start on the expensive feminised seeds i bought.

You seem very inexperienced my best advice would be .

Grab the ph thing in the pot toss it in the bin , then get plants and do the same .

Go buy a bag of coco and coco nutes and follow the instructions . Then get your bagseed and start again . Problem solved !

Take it easy :gardening:

Hey there bala. Not dissing the coco method bufo and badseed ive seen some great grows on this site using it.... But im growing indoors in soil at the moment and having great growth rates and vigorously healthy plants im using fish emulsion and proganics bloom left over from a hydro grow for veg , run to waste..and i know other growers who grow indoors in soil with much success.. Not saying its not your soil quality thats the problem though, what is the soil?

Hi Bala,

Bring your ph down to around the 6.0ph to 6.3ph an see how they go over the next few day, they look ok the girls to me just like Bufo said,so dont panic because the plant's may take more than a few day's to start to green up ok.

what is your ph reading of the run off waste water, you will need ph test kit the paper kind or a proper ph test pen to get the true reading of the run of water,if the ph reading is to high you will have a nutrient lock out an the girl's will not be able to uptake any nutrient's.

If the ph reading is to high on the run off water you will have to flust the girls out with ph ajusted water till the run off come's down to the 6.0 ph reading an let them drain out the water ,then give them a feed of nutrient's, with a ph of around the 6.1ph to 6.3ph .but dont over feed them or over water them so the soil is to wet.

Try that an see how they go.

If you {pm} Bento he may be able to help you more with your soil grow because I grow in clay, or coco, or rockwool, an use hydro nutrients an grow indoor's under light's.

As long as your happy growing in soil keep going but you mite find it a lot easier  growing in coco an useing hydro nutrient's,because you will find it more easier to control the ph & ec nutrient level reading in coco, but this is up to you an what you wont to do, best of luck with your grow . try doing what bufo or bento suggest you do ok.I know nothing really lol true.

Every single new grower that has no growing experience ( canna or otherwise ) STRUGGLES with store bought potty mix ! Find me 1 newbie diary that has had success with store bought potty mix .

You want to make growing indoors  easy for your self ? or do you wanna come here asking for help every few weeks ?

Persist with what you are using you will have problems the whole grow .

If you dont wanna toss plants i would transplant into coco .

Did you not look into appropriate mediums for indoor growing before  you start ?

Potty mix may work for experienced gardeners/ growers , everyone else just pushes shit up hill with a stick , only talking from what i have seen on this very site .

Honestly all the hydro methods , Run to waste coco, dwc etc are proven and out perform soil in indoors so why go the other way . Seems a bit backward thinking to me.

Good luck

Hiya bala :peace:

I must agree with the above posts mate.  I too have been down that road-and it is true, the reasons for the methods and stuff get revealed the further along in to the grow you go.  You could pay 3-4 dollars each at bunnings for a couple of coco blocks and condition them by one of the coco cleaning methods in here, there are a couple-Louise's comes to mind if that's you only option or if a hydro store is handy (I noticed your cool tent  ....one day :) ) I would buy a bag of Nutrifield, Canna or H&G coco and a litre of A=B some seasol and some cannazyme .  Like the posts said, make sure your ph is in the zone (learn it) transplant and the next few weeks will blow your mind lol  when I tried to make my own mix as a brand new grower ( I thought it might be cheaper) I couldn't get it to click-I am too inexperienced lol  more practice!  I really want ya to do well cos we always need more growers1

Peace to you and good growing. v :sun:
