History of Kush

the info in this post is so off the mark its not even funny. Master kush isnt hindu kush x skunk its 2 quite different hindu kush varieties crossed together to make master kush.

 

Its funny because I have grown a lot of kush over the yrs from pure hindu kush varieties to the new og kush varieties. I can tell you they dont have a lot in common .

 

The original hindu kush I used to grow was knockout weed. Literally left you couchlocked and red eyed the stone was intense. The plants grew short even outdoor and didnt have the classic christmas tree shape. Instead the lower branches grew faster than the main top in many cases and resulted the In what looked like a heavily topped and trained bush. Big long arms of very sticky buds with earthy coffee notes. Amazing weed.

 

The new breed of kush doesn't seem to have much of that influence at all with usually a tendency to grow one nice main bud and all other buds being quite small. Side brqnches are usually quite week and spindly rather than big strong sturdy dominant colas. The high is quite heady in most cases. I do prefer the new stuff myself because I like the high better.

 

I woupd take any info found on the net woth a grain of salt.

Normally I don't give a crack about spelling or grammar in forums, but when someone goes to the effort of writing up a 'history' I do expect verbs in every sentence.

i missed the name also Skunxx, i think Naycha was probably referring to a footnote at the end of the topic saying who the author was and where the article came from mate. No biggy but to put my two cents in Naycha and all the mods do a great job on this forum giving up there time and knowledge specially considering we are probably all stoners.

cool and interesting, there no mention of Burmese Kush. She doesnt get too many favourable grow reports

blueberry x tahoe og x sour og

deadhead og x doubledown diesel

herijuana x bubba kush

think i got osme more stashed away too

 

u dont think its the KOOSH brandname that is suposed to be sunonomous with quality

that gets brandished around a bit too much

being a aussie i never have experienced the kush craze

ive grown a master kush and a few lesser popular kushes

to me  a kush is from afghanistan and is a majority indica plant

these kushes available on the m,arket from clone only suplys

seem to have a very sativa influence and seem to flower to and beyond 10 weeks

 

wat sets them apart from the others?

to me that seems to be the main thing right now. 

 

i have a couple kush seeds but nowhere like you nice.

"Kush" got caught up in the USA laws as well. They decern between hillbilly scank weed, and 'Kush"

They are paying $800 an Oz in NY for Kush. I remeber an interveiwer for the Rick Simpson oil on some net radio thinkg just 'slip' that in as part of the convo.

How rick can we do this if Kush is goign for $800/Oz...

THC isnt the be all and end all.  There is plenty of medical cannabis that is well under 18%.
