these are 2700k ones I can get a 32w which puts out 1900 lumms instead of the 20w one with it so that should be good for flowering two shouldn't t it.

plus my landlord pays for my elect  so I can use a few bulbs but don't want it to be to suss. any help will be app. I no im new and dumb but I have been reading for a few weeks now and think I have a good idea. ty vm in advanced if not slap me and send me back to my corner

They'll work if you want to do a microgrow that yields maybe a couple of ounces.  If you're going to take the risk of growing cannabis you might as well make the most of it and grow a decent sized plant.  Remember a seedling is the same as a 5lb monster that takes up a single bedroom in the eyes of the law so seeing as though you'd be taking the same level of risk you should really aim to become self sufficient and get away from low watt setups.  Just bite the bullet now, get yourself a 400w or 600w hps and never look back.

I was just looking to grow 1 plant at a time. low auto ones as I live in a 1 bedroom unit with little room and a 2 door cub. I can use half of with 3 storage containers to grow one plant at a time. or I am going to make my own tent up. got it all figured out just need to get the stuff. but not building anything till my seeds arrive.

I will be growing crème caramel auto seeds so it should be fast and I don't have many visitors.  wouldn't a hps, use a lot more energy and make more noise, plus need venting and all that.

plus I just want to grow for my self and keep one in there at all times that way I can keep going with free smoke.

and are hps expensive. these lights by the time I get everything will cost about 50 to 60$.  and im on the pension so I cant afford to go all out. which sucks. but hps are expensive arnt they. and I don't want the landlord to notice to much on the power bill/.

any thoughts will be app ty

On ebay there is a 80w cfl.

I use one and can recomend it...

The phillips? Can I ask if you've ever tried to use it for flowering stage? The spectrum seems to be a cool-white if its the one I'm thinking of and I cant locate a warm/red tint equivalent

Well now! Pictures are worth a thousand words, thanks dude!
I might actually just run that chest of mine with 2 or 3 80W CFL's then! probably have less heating issues in a cramped space than with a 250W HPS and might work out cheaper...

Anyway, enough thread highjacking from me :P
