Auto advice needed

Recommended Posts

Outdoors is currently in 12/12-ish. I thought if yo gave it just the sunlight on the north side of the house then it should flower.

The first 21 day of 12/12 will still see teh plant stretch quite a bit. It should settle down then and just stack on the buds.

Keeping the rootmass small will give a small amount of bud. So the larger pot you could afford to put it it will give you the best return for your time.

I guess it goes without saying that too big might involve a little more 'time'

Thanks for the info especially about it behaviour when its going to flower because I didn't the faintest idea of what it would do.

I'm going to try to get it to flower and am keep in in a dark corner with a sheet over it for a most of the day because all the windows in the house are rather humungous and the rooms are pretty bright even on an overcast day here in Tas.

I haven't grown it before so haven't the experience to know whether less direct sunlight would work or whether the indirect light in the room might be a bit much. Glad I have a cutting/clone of this same plant to experiment with.

Thanks everyone for the advice and help

General comment:

Supplier (Bonza) offered to send some goodwill freebies as I mentioned in the earlier post, I offered to order some seeds (that I didn't need) and pay for postage as a goodwill gesture. The seed value would have entitled me to 2 free seed. They just swapped the freebie variety for the variety I had complained about. So I should have saved my money and not bought seeds I didn't need and just waited for them to send the "goodwill" freebies at their expense.

I know that their currency converter is also at least a year and from memory around 18 months out of date  Conveniently for them they have it  locked in to a rate where the AUD was at its lowest against the local currency with effect that not only does it make the seeds much more expensive than they should be but you also need to spend a lot more to reach the freebie benchmarks than you need to because of the rigged conversion rate. Paying through the nose with that supplier.
