Best fans for inside the tent?

Recommended Posts

Since im doing the big spend on my setup atm just wanted some opinions on what are some good options for fan inside the tent?

If you could provide a place to buy them would also be excellent. I have a 1x1x1.8 veg tent and a 1.2x1.2x2m flower that might do scrog in so might run 2 fans above and under the canopy

I picked up a Blauburg 200mm inline turbo fan for my 2x 600w setup and its the bee's knees.  Its a bit on the loud side even when set to minimum, but holy hell does it work well.  Inside my 1.3m x 2.6m x 2m tent is maybe 2-3c warmer than outside of it.  I got mine off ebay for $190 with postage included in that price.

I think op means a fan for inside the tent to move air around  Dr , that would blow the leaves from the plant lol

I found box fans are good just because you can hang em in the corners and they take up little or zero floor space , worst bit is when plants are small a little coco get blown around  .

Anything with a pedestal and moving fan head is a bastard in a small tent imo .

Buying from shops this time of year is a bitch , most stores get rid of fans around march or before .

I've got a little 15cm homemaker one from Kmart hanging in the tent. $10, 2 speeds and works a treat.... Only issue is there's no oscillation on it but if you hang it by some string the blade movement makes the fan dance around creating a sort of oscillation effect

My bad lol

Definitely go with getting a box fan for a tent.  I know from experience that the standing ones take up heaps of room that would be better spent growing buds.  Strangely the price of fans is crazy now.  A few months back a normal 40cm fan cost $10-15, now they're selling for $40 and extremely hard to come by, even on ebay

I use 2 30cm box fans with the louvres that rotate on the front moving air across the canopy, hung by chain so they dont take up floor space   Set the louvres to move air in any direction you want

I also have 2 30cm pedestal fans, with the base removed, 1 moving air from the front of the room, near the inlet, across the ballasts and reflectors, towards the carbon filter exhaust. the other fan in the opposite corner moving air around the base of the plants.

Get 2 fans for now, move them around to find the best position...

If you cant find anything at bunnings, kmart, etc your local hydro shop might have what you're after
