Went to my local hydro shop, bought 2 bags of coco (50L bags) and a 50L bag of perlite= $103.50....what the f##k??

And the guy is a grumpy prick...(don't do retail if your a grumpy prick)

OK, so I could have gone some where else but right now my back is fucked and I just don't have the time, I need to get the ball rolling.

This seems outrageous to me.

Wont be getting my business ever again.

Peace,

John

With all the online stores/ebay stores you can purchase this kind of thing from, I can't help but think you didn't do the research, went with what was easy/quick (fair enough) and THEN maybe did your comparisons post purchase.

Shops sell for what shops sell for.

In this day and age, in not finding a better deal the ownership is really on you here...though the consensus seems to be that you weren't all that overcharged anyway...

$20 a bag on ebay but shipping to ya house?? Probably not a good idea??

aye get over it you should do them deliveries jc .......   remmeber your bad back - they  will carry it  for  you.

I  found the 'Nutrifield  Coco' ideal - gets delivered by srangers which is ok  unless you live in a mocro-community with one pub.

Where is this shop? 2 bags of coco (50L bags) and a 50L bag of perlite= $103.50

Where is this shop, I paid $60 just for a bag of perlite at Miter10.

Recycling, rinsing with H2O2 then drain then put the container in an air tight container to bake under the sun for a while, dry out completely then store until needed.

I didnt think chucking a buch of really really white stuff around the house every time your done with it is a good idea... from above that will look like a nice white frame around your house. You may as well paint. "Come over for a smoke" on your roof.
