red dragon
someone on here told me that you can grow plants outside in winter but the frost destroys the buds. so if i grew in winter just to get leaves to make honey oil, would this be a good idea? Luke Skywalker
The plants themselves are killed by frost, not just the buds. If it drops below about 5 degrees as a day temp, and below 0 as a min, in winter you'll have great difficulty growing even for leaf. And it would also likely flower under the light cycle too. MJ is stimulated to flowering when the day period is less than the night period.... So you'd be better off growing indoors in winter if you experience below 0 temps. And even if you were just growing for leaf, you would have great difficulty getting it to grow at all, let alone stay in veg.
