Canna Mentors, Venting Help, Please

Recommended Posts

Hi All

Wondering if i can pick your collective brains so to speak

I'm looking into setting up a grow space which will be 1m (W) x 2.4m (L) x 2.25m (H) ( Roof is Pitched so 2m high on 1 side & 2.5m high on the other side)

The area will be spilt into veg & bloom , veg taking up around 1m x 1m at the 2.5m roof height side & the rest for bloom. The roof & most walls being solid plaster

& 1 main wall & the dividing wall ( veg/bloom ) being Panda.

Question, Can you see any issue with venting plan,

Setup , Filter - Cool tube 600w - Fan - Duct (Dividing wall) Duct - Cool tube 250w - Duct - Out

So the 440 cfm fan is sucking through the filter & cool tube & blowing that air in duct though the dividing wall & across the second cool tube & out of the area

This would be a complete strait venting run with no bends .

The fan is big enough to cover the hole room the growing area will be constructed in.

Veg & bloom will run at the same start time so the fan will run on veg timer. This means the veg room has no direct air evac relying on the fan & filter in the bloom area for that .

The grow area will be light tight but not air tight & the room the grow area is constructed in, is air tight or close enough to it.

Both veg & bloom will have each there own fresh air intake from a 8" intake hole with a "Y" split to 2 6" outs each having 1x 150cfm inline fan sucking in fresh air

So what do ya think , full of shit ! or close to, on the money !

Thanks for any help guys

Regards

Itchy

Ps poss using Odor Sok as filter for it's weight

You really won't know till you start your grow. The only alteration I would make personally, run the 250w into the 600w with the aiflow. The 250w produces a hell of a lot less heat, the air coming off that won't affect the 600w, as much as the 600w would the 250w. Good luck with your grow:-)
