Hydroponics equipment supplier jailed

How is selling medium for growing any type of plant apart from pot illegal? In fact any of things they sell can be used for any type of growing. I must admit i feel a bit perplexed when i see nutes with pot imagery on the labels, thats just asking for it. But everything else is legal.

 

Bunnings is just as responsible for supplying materials to grow and cultivate pot as these guys,,except for the budzilla branded stuff i guess.

 

I noticed that in Qld at least, Bunnings have taken the more overt Hydroponic products off their shelves.

With the recent law changes in Qld I wouldn't be surprised if they introduced more onerous laws related to "supplying equipment or material capable of being used for the cultivation of cannabis" or even buying or owning such equipment.

This is outrageous. If something isn't illegal, then it can't be punishable in a fair and honest society.

 

This is flat out tyranny. When some bloke who is a "judge" get's to decide that you go to jail for doing something perfectly legal, then it isn't a legal system at all.

 

All of this "you should have known but failed to" is straight up bullshit that shouldn't be credited with a counter argument. I'm not going to go into the logical inconsistencies because it'll just make me upset.

 

I reckon that this judge should be punished severely by the community, because he is a flat out danger to everyone - sentencing by decree is a slipperly slope that negates the need for a legal system at all (why bother even arguing a case when some bloke is just going to do what he feels like anyway?) and takes society right back to the middle ages. The judge is a menace and a criminal.

 

Bloody disgraceful.
