Well after a long wait we're finally please to announce the Canna Porn Top 5 Picks from the July - December 2012 Canna Porn cannabis photography competition. We took 10 entries based on their ratings, reputation points, views and any comments they had. Then we picked the top 5 from them as featured in the topic poll based on our personal favourites from them.

For something a little different this round we've decided to trial the public poll option meaning all votes are public, please note you must be a registered and validated member in order to vote for Canna Porn.

 

The lucky winner of the July - December photography competition will pick up the new Canna Porn jacket as featured below in their size and an original XL Canna Porn shirt, as well as some great OZ Stoners gear from the cannabis community shop.

Interesting Katt, The only way I can think to impoove shots under the HPS is by using photoshop. I figured using photoshop would be a no no in canaporn? Like using performance enhancing photons?

These are great pics man   RR-had ya in the lead I LOVE your outdoor shots man I wish I had a coffee table book!  Bud shots just want me to get the kids to school and chop!  Ernie Badseed and Sammo they look very f'en tasty but I'm a sucker for growing plants And choice buds so I gonna pick Badseed's NL x Skunk # 1 with all that growin sticky goodnes

I think using the 'white balance' function in photoshop could adjust the lighting to take out enough of the orange/red to make a great shot!

I don't take the lighting conditions in to account because I 'get' growing....

If you're going to enter a photography comp two things that one should bare in mind is focus and framing.

Not gonna win anything with a blurry photo.

 

And no, I don't agree with altering a photo with photoshop (or other program) if you're entering a comp, BUT that would depend on the rules of said comp....

Only thing I consider "OK" is cropping.

But again, it depends on the rules of what ever comp you're entering. I've not looked into the finer details of the Canna Porn Comp as it's going to be a looooooooong time before I enter.
