October to April is a good time to grow. Start a compost heap for now [easilly degraded things only though - straw and vegies etc] and/or worm farm to keep you busy. :P

27 degrees is the optimal growing temp out side..........

Yup.......Oct to April is correct, though you wouldnt want to seed plant any later than december otherwise they will hit flower under 4ft high...........

I usually throw a few clones in round mid to late december.......they start flowering usually about late march and finish mid to late april.......

C'mon APRIL!!!!! :P

Alot of people can start planting as early as september, basically, whenever the frosts stop you can plant. But also alot of people can keep growing all year round, if you in tropical QLD, or NT you can. but as people have said, most plants will go straight to head planted in autumn or winter.

No cannabis can handle frost , which is when it drops below 0deg celcius overnight, but cannabis can handle pretty crazy temperatures other than that, indicas, particular, dutch and canadian outdoor indicas, will usually handle much colder temperatures than sativas, due to the origins of both species Id say. Ruderalis hybrids I imagine would tolerate even worse cold.

White Cluster already explained that if you are to put plants outside this time of year they will just start flowering, which is ok if you have vegged them indoors to a good size.

And like said its also a problem is some areas with frost which can kill a plant pretty quick or at best make the thing go purple and produce shit buds. :D

Use this time wisely and approach your desired growing area as an intruder, or an outsider. What can they see? What camo do you have in place? How much can be seen from surrounding houses? Visitors? Dogs? How much light do you get a day in the spot you chose? One great set-up is far less headaches and far more successful than acting on a whim or impulse. I know, I've gone down before. :D

I Plant young clones outdoors 1st full-moon of september @ approx 15" high..if possible. :o I protect them with a mini plastic greenhouse from cold o/night temps till earlt oct..at thich time they have nearly outgrown the greenhouse anyways!!! :P By this time..the roots have established..and they are ready to crank with the warmer temps and increasing daylight hours :P Works 4 me..although all the 1's i done this for were in the wrong spot and got eaten soon after the plastic waz removed. Won't grow there again without protection
