Question - if I were to speak my mind about the Corby family, would I cop a lot of abuse, or would I be better off pretending and saying something like "the Corby family are pillars of the community and Schappelle is sweet and innocent and was framed"?

In that case, bogans is the polite terms, these redneck idiots give smokers, and indeed the entire pot industry a bad reputation.  And, what is wrong with this country that these idiots are supposedly famous, and able to trade off there crybaby daughter getting busted.  They give me the screaming shits, and I'm sick of hearing about them.  And the fucking idiot media keeps feeding them, good or bad publicity, they don't give a fuck, it's all attention to them.

 

As for Schappelle, or however you spell it, what, just because she's from Oz we're meant to give a shit that she got caught, and automatically buy into the she was set up conspiracy (why would anyone set her up).  The only reason I've ever had the slightest doubt about her guilt is that I find it impossible to understand why anyone would import weed into Indonesia, between the natural growing climate and the draconian drug laws.  It was explained to me once, but it didn't sink in.  If the poor little girl is unable to deal with the consequences of carrying drugs into that country, she should have thought of that first instead of expecting an entire country to feel sorry for her and expect another country to exempt her cause she's an Aussie.  Maybe the rest of her family could emigrate to Bali, they're welcome to them, maybe I could get some peace at last.

 

Ahhh, I feel better now.  By the way, I do not agree with Indonesia's drug laws, or their treatment of prisoners (all of em, not just her), I just believe that if you want to take drugs to a country knowing this, that you obviously believe the reward outweighs the risk, so shut the fuck up and cop it sweet, pursue legal channels but without whinging to Australia.  And maybe she is innocent, I simply don't give a shit anymore, in fact as soon as "A Current Affair" stick their nose into anything I tune out (but that's a whole new rant)
