Changing Lights From Veg To Flower

yo fuckers,

my grow room is 1100 x 1100 x 1800 tall.i have a 400w hps light. my plants are coming along nicely, and i am ready to reduce the light cycle to send them into flower.

i have started by dropping the light by 1/2 hr per day rather than by just changing straight to 12/12.

what do you guys do/think about this method?

remember growing is trial and error ... your plant will be smaller coz you didnt give it more vegetation time. How many hours light and darkness periods did you start with (20/4 or 18/6) ? What medium are you using (soil or soil-less) ? How long have you been in vegetation ?

 

All these circumstances you have to take into mind to estimate the quality of your buds ... increasing the darkness slower would give your plant more time to grow in vegetation mode.

sorry man, I can't make sense of what you just said.

my plants are about 1 1/2 months old, they are in coco . they are about 2 1/2 foot tall and thick as fuck, so I guess they are ready for flower. Plus I am running out of room.they have been on 18/6 cycle the whole time.

 

I just thought it would be more natural to drop the light down slowly, but if you guys have had no trouble with it, then i'll give it a shot

Don't stress on that one Dirty, it's the fucken blind leading the blind Just drop em down to 12/12 and in a week or two you should see some nice little white pubes on ya babies
