I haven't tried this brand but I have tried NaturesOwn, which seemed to flush the plant ok?... one thing I noticed was that mixed as instructed the pH came down to 4 ! 

So I'm guessing that basically using low pH water does the same thing, ie, no nutrients are taken up by the plant at that low pH range... water will, but nutrients no.

I have tried using low pH water myself and only noticed a drop off in plant health so???
