Dope Decriminalised In Australia In The Year...?

Recommended Posts

Well it looks like we finally have someone to give little Johnny a run for his money, and with Mark Latham comes the possibility that 1950's drug policy may be reviewed.

Now Latho will never do anything as controversial as mention drug reform in an election campaign ( would scare off too many of the mum and dad/ nan and grandad voters he needs to woo from Howard), but I reckon after he is elected he will want to condsolidate his youth vote and appease some of his more left wing labour team.

..this might mean we get the other states and territories to have the balls to follow ACT and SA's decriminalistion laws. If it's mandated federally, WA, NT, NSW QLD and TAS might find them themselves toking ( semi ) legally.

So, when do you reckon your state will decriminalise pot.

Dude..........I think you'll find the bill for W.A has passed already, if I'm not mistaken :D  Or it's in motion

WA's new laws come into effect in two days time - this Monday, 22nd March 2004.
