Whats the difference between "Coco Coir" and regular "Coir" (from Bunnings for instance)

That is a really good question tmer.  I honestly don't know.   Is it just a shortening of the term?  "coco peat"  "coco coir" "coir"?

Coco Peat is Coco, Coco coir is also Coco, same shovel....different shit.

Premium Coco in 50lt bags is buffered and treated,

Brunnings coco (premium block) needs to me hydrated, washed (until water runs clear), then add dolomite to act as a buffer for the PH ( 1 cup per 45LT hydrated coco).

DO NOT buy the stupid seed rasing coco blocks or the one with "added Fertilizer" will be more of a pain than anything.

Just don't use peat moss, terribly un sustainable and a completely different ingredient!

uh oh, I did not wash my Bunnings Coir block, is that bad? I also did not add Dolomite...

I always buy the prefertilised 9L bricks... what is this pain of which you speak?
