first grow!

Hi all,

 

Am about to start my first grow! 

 

I will be planting 

AK-48 feminized, Auto. Short Rider Fem.     

 

I bought the seeds from buydutchseeds.com

 

has anyone had experience with these varieties?

 

also is it ok to start planting first week of February or is this late and my plants will suffer?

 

I will be planting on an open balcony that faces westish, so direct sun is only possible from around 3:00 pm to sundown, is this a major obstacle?

Those conditions aren't ideal but don't worry, make the best of what you have and get those seeds in.

will my plant stagnate due to low sun exposure? Im afraid of this...

no they just won't get a big as they could have if started earlier.

What growing medium do you plan on using....I would definately stay away from soil mix's when using Auto Flowering Plants, unless you have plenty of experience with growing MJ in Soil.

 

I would suggest using Coco as the growing medium. I have never grown AK48 B4 but Ak47 plenty of times yes.

 

As already mentioned only having a small  window of light will restrict the size and end result of the plant.

why stay away from soil Auto King? what are the advantages of Coco as the growing medium?

A good soil mix requires experience.

 

Coco has is purely a Hydroponic Medium so when you feed them you know exactly the amount of Nutrient the plants are getting.

Coco is very easy for the Roots to expand thru,, which is important for Auto plants if you want a decent yield
