Hello SB ..... has it been a bit wet and humid around your place lately ? could just be damage because of excess humidity .... I would cut as much manky stuff off , try and keep it dry and avoid wetting the buds when watering

Also if your plant can handle it id probly try and prop it back up with a garden stake or something ...that is if it wont break your stem ...might improve air flow around your buds

Still looks away from finishing ...id leave it cause the longer you wait before harvesting the better off you will be in the way of trichs on your buds

Could also be Verticillium wilt ....dunno

Cheers :) Brimstond

That my friend is stem rot =) , just been through this at my place..... usually caused by mice/rats chewing on the stem, and/or major root damage.

The plant is dead mate, it's trying to hang on, but its too late.

See how the branch has broken away from the stem........... that will continue to happen as the plant becomes browner and browner.

Think of it as a rot/ mould that has gotten into the main core of the plant, and is eating it from where ever the damage was.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news , but she aint comin back. If it was in the top branches and not the main trunk, ya might of had a chance.

Good luck. Peace. Nibbler.

Hi all thanks for the quick responses.

Bit of background info as mentioned the storm damage, i did have it all wired back up again even used some bonsai wound sealer n she did ok for week or 2 then had another storm so that made it easier for me i'm still experimenting at my latitude but things are on the up n up.

"Matanuska Thunder" i admit no bug preventer of any sort just daily manual inspection had lots of caterpillars seemed to be coming up out of the top soil peat i just keep picking em off good duck n chook feed eh eh thanks for your advice.

"billgoat" ha ha no, no round up, no stick,no beatings from me, some rough mother nature maybe pretty tough here for em.

"Brimstond" yeah mate wet n humid thats it. i was leaning that way myself i actually thought i was lucky to get her that far, as for trimming my mate actually smoked some of the died off stuff said it was ok but i will discard it(looks mouldy weed to me) but Hash nibbler's answer has me thinking just cut it.The "verticillium wilt" gunna check into that thanks for your input cheers.

"The Hash Nibbler" stem rot figures too wet humid here. F***ing bug heaven ha ha. i was thinking that would cause problems wet season n you described it perfectly "rot/mould that has gotten into main core" on a lighter note its not all doom n gloom as i said always experimenting i got nother one coming up looks like it could be my 10ft sativa that i cant let go bondage time. thanks for your info n help appreciated cheers StonedBarra
