Colorado students accused of sickening class THC

Recommended Posts

"...University of Colorado president Bruce Benson sent a message to college alumni last week, saying that marijuana remains illegal under federal law, and its use on the university's campuses could jeopardize research grant money."

Huh? What?

I guess I wouldn't be surprised if the major US granting agencies really were this stupid. Surely, this is a bluff, though. If NSF/NIH/NIST withheld research grants for pot use on campus, then the only science in the US would be done at Oral Roberts U.!!! Even if this rule is on the books, it is clearly not enforced, nor should it be.

I'm just flabbergasted.

Bruce was covering his arse, all talk no action.

That being said Cannabis remains illegal on all federal property Inc National Parks, government buildings an military bases, blah blah blah -

That means no legal Canna smoking on a houseboat whilst travelling on the Colorado River (yea, right). No canna at the Grand Canyon - that'd suck. [/blabber]

IMO - Oral U probably has a canna sub-culture, even those crazed amo-carrying bible-bashing right-wingers smoke cannabis.

edit: much to high to be writing coherently
