Some argue if this bill is a step forward or back but I think most mj advocates feel that despite the negatives this is a move in the right direction. The 220 odd misdemeanour's that were dropped in Pierce and King county were a positive from the bill, that's a given but I think there is a issue with the media being unusually quiet on the negative aspects, especially the D.U.I.D provision.

 

One definite is that the public is not being informed that the marijuana legalization could be a state power grab in sheep's clothing. I hope that the talks to make the new laws more user friendly are something that will actually happen and not just idealism. The tax rate is just ridiculous, the powers that be certainly know how to milk every last drop out of the move.

 

I read someone say that Al Capone would be jealous of this model for "legalization" because he was limited to shooting some of his competitors.

 

While the govt will just throw all their competitors in prison.
