Yes it is iLegal in Australia , However diffrent states have diffrent laws in regards to cannabis . In Adelaid you Allowed to grow 3 plants for personal use anything over is considerd to be Drug Supply meaning you will be charged as a Drug Dealer . New South Wales a while ago just legalized cannabis for Medical Use only under a 4 year trial .

However even with sertian laws in place thier are places like Nimbin . if your comming to Australia make sure you check out a place called NImbin witch is in New South Wales . Even in Amstradam Cannabis is illegal expect thier goverment turnd a blind eye to it .

cheers

This is a good thread. Anyone an expert on this? I've been wondering a long time how Queensland compares to New South Wales. I think you get fined more for seeds but I really don't know.

Canberra is fairly lenient. You can carry a small amount of pot for personal use but again just like Adelaide too much will get you busted as a dealer. Someone from Canberra could better explain it. We should really have a state by state guide. Some sticky topics laying it all out.

Canberra is a softer touch because the only jobs available are government related. So anyone with a criminal record can't find a job. This became such a problem that the Government was forced to introduce fines instead of arrests.

I thought it was dropped to one outdoor plant cronic?

I think there's a thread about state laws pinned up in one of the forums, have a search and you should find it...

Yeah, MJ is illegal, but as the states are ultimately responsible for their own drug laws, they can have widely varying consequences. Generally tho, it's illegal. :)
