First Time Grower

G'day gang.

So I'm wondering about growing. There seems to be so much information out there, almost too much for someone like me. All I want is one plant that I can grow from a pot in my shed. No fancy set up, no lighting, nothing like that. Just a basic pot and plant type situation. With the days turning warmer, is it as easy as planting a seed, watering it and keeping it company every now and then? If people don't mind, can I please have a really brief rundown, a how-to and maybe some tips from others who have done the pot plant version?

Cheers,

Z

I prob would not grow in the shed I think it would be just a bit to hot for the plant. But more or less just go down to your local hydro shop and get a few goodies i.e. soil.....ect

It just occurred to me - it's not a small garden shed or anything. It's actually a garage/shed combination, built out of I think cinder blocks? Fairly large, couple of windows facing into my yard, no one else's. Would that type of shed work?

In a shed? Without lights? You could........... but honestly it wouldn't be worth it. The plant wouldn't fully develope and the buds would be light and fluffy

In a glasshouse without lights, sure, you could do that by throwing a seed in some good soil

But a shed would restrict the light from the sun and possibly stuff up the plants light cycle.

If you're looking at inside, you'll need a light to get anything decent from it IMHO.

This is a plant I grew in my garage. Sunlight was coming through laser light sheet in roof.

If your windows face north and get good daylight hours through them, then you could probably grow something reasonably decent.

Keep in mind that the glass could possibly magnify the heat hitting the plant.
