Wasn’t Mullaway busted well the police were carrying out routine chopper surveillances?

 

Anyway, not saying those cold-hearted pricks definitely didn’t target Mullaway. But I very much doubt the NSW police are working together with GWPharma to get rid of potential competitors. , that just sounds too much like a 9/11 style conspiracy theory to me.

 

Personally, I think this is brilliant news. I hate reading about all those stories on here about people with cancer who are unable to obtain a cannabis medication to ease their pain. Some live to far from nimbin for it to be a viable option and others don’t want to break the law.

Sorry, Just posted the same article in medical cannabis. This is only a chemical nasal spray. You can't even get stoned. They aren't talking about a medical pot shop on every corner like in california.

While cannabis is known to cause hallucinations and delusions, Dr Le said phase-one and phase-two trials of Sativex in more than 400 cancer patients found it relieved pain with few side effects, the most common being nausea. He said psychiatric side effects were very rare in the doses used and that patients did not report feeling ''stoned''.

 

Note the quote "in the doses used". In other words it doesn’t get you stoned if you don’t use enough. It’s a 50/50 THC CBD tincture, of course its gonna get you stoned if you use enough of it. There just wording it in a way that won't scare the public.

 

Anyway, this is just about helping people with cancer and MS, its not about creating a loophole to legally smoke top quality bud, like in cali.

Good point. I assumed it meant that the dosage was so diluted that you couldn't get stoned. Like with hemp where it would take about a field of the stuff. Which would give you a devilish migraine. Not sure what else is in that sativex so I'd be careful taking more than the recommended dosage. Might be expensive too. Pharmacies aren't well known for being cheap. Edited October 29, 2012 by Outlaw
