45 Charged In Drug Raids

POLICE have charged 45 people with 179 drug and property offences following a series of raids in southern Queensland.

 

Police from Toowoomba, Ipswich and Dalby executed 50 search warrants on properties throughout Toowoomba, including the suburbs of Milmerran, Pittsworth, Westbrook and Gatton.

 

The raids were part of Operation Oompala (correct) and involved the seizure of a large quantity of cannabis and amphetamines as well as stolen property over a four-day period.

 

Police declined to put a monetary value on the drugs or indicate their weight, saying only that the haul was "large".

 

As a result of the operation, 129 drug charges were laid, including numerous counts of supplying a dangerous drug, possession of a dangerous drug and producing a dangerous drug.

 

And 43 charges for property offences were laid plus charges for weapons possession, disqualified driving, obstructing police and failing to appear.

 

The alleged offenders are due to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court in coming weeks.

Thanks man. Sounds like a halfwit lame ass charge. By that line of reasoning the whole of white australia could be charged with receiving or being in possesion of stolen property in the form of australia. Didn't our forebears steal it from the aborigines? Didn't we receive this great land from them? Aren't we in posession of it? Aren't the police predominantly white? Who is going to arrest us all?

 

Oh right, I forgot, there's only one law really. The law of might. You can do whatever you want as long as you think you can get away with it. I swear to God the rest of the state police forces are getting corrupt as Victoria. So many drug busts and all funded by a public that doesn't support it. Time for a revolution I think. Anyone up to shooting a few politicians?

 

I reckon we should be given one day a year when shooting politicians is perfectly legal. Licenses could be issued with all money going to cancer research. Kill two kinds of cancer at once.

Must have some local meaning. Perhaps they consider themselves racehorses for running down so many people. Jackasses would be closer to the mark.
