How do i slow her down

Branches and stems look very thin ,which can be caused by insufficient light levels or too low e.c.

 

(and can cause excessive stretch)

i have only recently found oz and what a help yous have been so far.only learnt from you tube vids and they were all growing indicas and i didnt no what mine was so i just done what the videos said after alot more research i can see where i will improve next time

i have a 400w hps.

i change water and nutes every 7 days

the branchs are 4-5mm thick and get couple mm thicker where they join on to the stem

What nutrients are you using and at what ec? and what distance are you running the 400?

12 inches away with the light.i dont have a ec or ppm meter.im using cultiplex zennax fruit. n14% p6% k31% s2.1% ca7% mg1.8%

what should the ec be?im goin to be getting the 2 gauges if i need them

Light distance is all good, although 600 would be more suitable for 1.4 x 1.4. Dunno about the cultiplex stuff,

IMO be much better off with some canna aqua, H&G hydro, cyco, etc, something crop specific ,at least if you got no ec meter you can follow their guide and be in the ball park.

 

Edit. Ec should probably be in the late teens and would be wise to have ec and ph meter.

yea i want to change the nutes to h&g or canna.

I have to fix this problem first.i cant see how to slow it down with out scroging it and im still a bit unsure on how to do that with this big plant.im not sure on tying it down,would i have to bruize and bend the branch down then tie it down or just try tying it down without breaking the branch

I like to tie back without kinking the branches (see LST) branches are very flexible.

But you can also be more extreme and kink and knuckle branches.
