I don't know about further south in the NT, but I found Darwin a shit place to grow weed. Too fucking wet for half the year and close to 12/12 year round... which wouldn't have been a problem if the elec hadn't been sooo fucking expensive and I could have vegged plants indoors. Those 12 foot cyclone wire fences were good for keeping the ferals at bay though... easy to secure the garden.
