400w kit or 600w kit?

6" inline fan $38

I was considering running two of these inline fans, one for the cooltube and 1 for the carbon filter. My consideration was a little bit of savings but also i was under the assumption it would be more silient.

But by the specs each of these fans runs at 50db.

So i started thinking of a single more powerful fan that would go (carbon fillter) > (fan) > (duct) > (cooltube) > (duct) > (silencer) > (out of tent)

6" centri fan $107

I have a large garage you could fit 3 cars in, but its just full of random junk, i want the tent to be down the back corner running and not really hear anything running. I know silent is impossible i just don't want it to be noticeable.

I've also seen pictures of people insulating centri fans

6" inline $50

Here is another inline fan but it doesn't have a DB listed in the specs. It is only 40 CFM less then the centri fan but the watts is quite low, so would it have the grunt to suck through a carbon filter then push through a cool tube out of the tent?

You dont need to hook the silencer up directly to the fan.

Go with the centri too.

I have a silencer, it works, but its not as silent as you think. You can put the fan in a box and wrap it in a doona, thick blancket or similar. The fan wont burn out, its cooled buy the air flow inside. I have my fans in a storage container full of crumbled foam from clark rubber.

You can run (in tent) carbon filter - duct - cool tube - duct (out tent) fan - duct -silencer.

Try to keep less in the tent.

or run the same and put the carbon filter at the end of the silencer and "push" through the carbon filter.
