Too small? Help!

Thanks Louise, I'm feeling pretty shattered right now.

 

I've trimmed all the dead leaves off, pretty much only leaving bud on the branches, everything else was crisp.

Is it safe to leave my buds like this for another few days? Or will the light turn them to dust? I'm debating wether or not to just pull them out completely tonight and hang them up to dry or to keep flushing for a few days then pull? Anyone who can help I would appreciate it.

Sorry to say it but, these are the lessons we learn.

Listen to the info given by both Lou and Nibbs

My advise is to follow Nibbs advise ASAP. Start flushing and change your fluid regularly and flush it for a good day or two.

You want as much crap out of the plant's system as soon as you can, then rip. As soon as you see a decline in the bud (after flushing if possible) RIP IT

 

You MUST have fresh air. Recirculating dead stale air will kill it for sure. I am yet to hear of a plant dying from too much fresh air but stale air is suffocating it. If your tent is within an enclosed area you need to vent that whole space and not just the tent. You need fresh air from outside, if possible from the level of the ground as the cooler air is from down low. Hot air rises so your exhaust vent should be up high and preferably also vented outside.

hang tough man, worse thing ya can do in these situations is make a rash decision.

 

Ok, so ya trimmed all the crap leaves off and ya left with buds, on stems, and roots...........keep em going mate. Flush like a man possessed.

Unless the plants start to wilt REALLY bad, they be fine. They can live like that. Some people , like me , will remove foliage close to the end of flower if its messy and let more light to the lower buds.

 

Just hang tough, and wait mate, ya can let these go the distance. Peace. Nibbler.

Hey Merl1n, yeah it was a tough lesson but it's done now. Next time around I'll make sure not to make the same mistake ha. Thanks for the info on ventilation btw.

Hey everyone, the results aren't looking good unfortunately

 

I was just preparing to flush again, then I checked the buds by touching them and they look weird and feel pretty toasted.. oh no

I'm not sure if it's even worth flushing them now, it looks like the buds are just going to keep deteriorating really..

If anyone has found themselves in these circumstances I'd appreciate a quick reply on what's the best next step at this point?

How many days flush and what was your flush regime??

Anyway, it doesn't really matter, if ya think your heads are declining more. RIP. Take what you can from it before the plant completely dies.

It might be a shit smoke if its too far gone, but you'll learn from it.

I dont see the buds deteriorating, but if ya can get me some pics with the light off, so I can see em properly, would help.

Just dont want ya pullin em without a good flush... if ya can help it.

To be honest Merl1n I don't have a regime since I've just kind of been tossed into chaos . The night after they suffered the humidty blast I started my flush by running straight ph'd water through them, though not really what you would call a sufficient ammount for flushing. That was the first and only time they have been flushed so far. Yeah I've accepted the fact that the bud isn't going to be great.. next time i'll get it

 

Hey Nibbler, yeah sorry I was in a bit of a funk about the whole situation when I wrote that last post. Well I guess experimenting at this stage isn't so bad, so I'll clean up all those dead leaves, give them another good flush and post you some pics after this is all done.. I'm sure as hell not spending new years eve doing that shit ha.

Bad? yes. But dont be goin into depression. We all cock up at some point. Some of us many times. (DOH. Did I just say that aloud?) Mistakes make you human even us experienced fellas have cockups, believe me.

But that flushin bit is REAL important. My regime is full on for a flush, no timers just the pump running fulltime and overnight. Throwing the first couple of 1hr long flushes away till the salts run off is at around 500-400ppm. Refilling with pH adjusted water every 12 hr. Even with the leaves being crunchy the bud is still standing, so dont go dropping the ball yet. The game aint over.

 

NOW GET IN THERE AND FLUSH. .................Basically your flush is getting rid of salt build up, so you need to flush the whole pot. The more salt you evacuate, the cleaner the smoke will be. YOU NEED TO FLUSH!!!!

Hey Merl1n, yeah I figure it's not worth getting too upset over now, it's just a shock when all your hard work and time go down the drain.

Last night I stepped into the growroom for a few minutes and began to trim some leaves off, when I bumped into a cola and it snapped at the top it was so brittle! All of the buds are in the same shape, I think this time around I'll be making a lot of hash products, I don't think this bud will be smokeable really.

 

From here I guess I'll just get the hose in there tonight, flush each pot roughly 3 x it's volume, run 1 feed of ph'd water through them, then pull sometime during the week.
