I thought this might be of interest to coco and or soil growers, unfortunately embedding is disabled so you'll need to watch from youtube - segment begins at 5.55mins and runs for about 2 minutes.

 

ps you don't need the fancy tool they use for taking the samples, an apple corer works fine.
