hi all love the site just wanting to know can i use a 150 w flood light on my seedlings ? any 1 tryed this b4 ? thinking it may give them a head start 4 outside?

Ahh, No.

Seedlings, something a little more gentle, like a CFL.

Spotlight can cook them rather than boost them.

Hey Ceaser, don't be discouraged so quick, if ya don't know, the only way to find out is to ask, and we have the knowledge. When it comes to our plant we know, so ask.

 

OK lights, now as a noobie this is gonna be real simple. But the CFL or compact fluro light is one of those new twisted tube lights in your house. The good thing with a CFL is very little heat. Your spotlight will generate way too much heat and for seedlings possibly too much 'bright' and not the right spectrum. Gentle is best with youngins
