First grow SE Qld

Any tips for this region? I'd love to hear from you via post

Hey Zenmoira, Welcome to Ozstoners :P

Here are a few tips in dot point form

- If you hear dirt bikes lay very low or leave the area. Some bushy areas don't allow dirt bike riding, and it is so common to see officers on dirt bikes looking for them.

- Parks & wildlife officers are useless :P

- Avoid growing near power lines these are hot spots for a bit of extra foot traffic.

- TICKS! check and check again dude, its getting warmer and pulling a grass tick off the side of ya nuts is not a event to write home about. :P

- Wear decent shoes and carry first aid, plenty of snakes around

- In a pinch for some water and the ladies are thirsty?? Use black or green plastic bags and tie them around the end of a branch next day there will be water in the bag from the plant sweating.

- Might be a good idea to stake your ladies, we can get some hectic storms here.

- And good luck! I Hope to hear you have a successful grow :)

Yeah I agree with you there Technical stoner.

If you do make the decision to break the law and grow marijuana/cannabis on crown land, then the following things should be taken into consideration;

Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Don't leave any material lieing around that can be taken for fingerprints, or identified from the air, including tarps or poly pipe stemming from creeks.

Don't leave footprints, don't leave DNA lieing around (food wrappers, etc).

Don't make alot of noise, don't cut down alot of trees!

State forests are nearly allways subjected to a larger amount of aerial surveilance then private land.

It is not uncommon for the park ranger/police to position still/movement cameras and technology at entrances and other localities in a state forest. Potentially a crop site to identify whom you are! :hunter:

Have a legitimate reason to be in the state forest. This may be to go bushwalking or take photographs of wildlife. Don't pack your vehicle full of fertilizer and clones and leave it on the side of the road for a trail bike rider to identify.

I wouldn't be caught dead growing dope in a state forest, but if you can't be good, then atleast be good at it!
