Sure but its supposedly best to pull any bud off it.

I just took 2 cuts from a plant during the flowering stretch and both rooted faster than any other clone Ive taken.

I would not recommend removing the flowers from clones of flowering plants, unless they're fully senesced and swollen, and it's a bulky, humidy trap there. If it's just a few smallish flowers it will be fine. Might take a little longer to root and grow out into veg than a clone taken in the veg period, but they do clone. :D :D

Some say take lower branches, I think these are better more because of their lack of bulky foliage than for their excessive carbohydrate levels compared to the upper canopy. :)

others say take apical clones...that are nice and bushy so that while they are rooting if you fuck the leaves youll have more than one set to recover the plant...more leaves = more sun catching spots..and faster growth. If the plant has to grow a whole stack of leaves to stay alive and grow then youve just wasted precious time between then and your next smoke

Also take nice thick cuttings (stem wise)....I dont personally belive in taking 1.5 mm thick stemmed cuttings....I like to give them the best start in life...
