80w phillips cfl - complete grow

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Going to setup another grow area - a large fridge. And I'm going to chuck my autos in it. Just two plants.

Thinking of just using an 80w Phillips CFL with reflective shroud, and maybe put a second in there depends how they fill it out. And using the cfls for flower too.

Or should I use 1cfl for veg, and buy a 250w ish hps and use that for flower?

Dunno if this would be worth it or just use the setup for seedlings/clones

More light is always worth it oldman.

At the end of the day you take a big risk growing the 'erb, so I feel you should do the best you can, or give what you can.

The po-po arnt gunna give you a slap on the wrist cos it looks like ya set up isnt "profesional" or it looks to them like "its just a few plants under the kitchen light."

if it was me.... i would set the fridge up with a 250w cooltube, and use
mh
and
hps
..just sayin'
:pardon:

the cfls need to be close to the plant for maximum efficency, i get the same light reading, 1inch from a 20w c/flouro and 1.2 metres from my 600w
hps
..we all know the more light the bigger the plants means more buds..,..
