Run out of time for soil mix, Need alternatives

Recommended Posts

Hey all.

I am planning on A guerilla grow this outdoor season and I didn't even think of mixing up some soil. Can anyone recommend A pre-brought soil brand or A quick recipe that doesn't need to sit for months. My local landscaping place sell A "garden mix" by the sq metre. I was thinking of asking them the NPK and ph levels as well as the ingredients and just add what I need to this mix.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Thanks

its only early august, dont stress.

If the ph is fine just add some worm casts and aged compost if you can find it and dig your holes and fill, abit of sand or coco aswell if the mix is heavy. Lime / dolomite and some zeolite for ph balance.

Waiting abit later to plant isnt a bad thing. A good mix will promote great growth, also many seed co bought seeds will go straight into flower if planted 2 early in the spring. The ganja plant can grow very fast. Worry about ferts later on. Just get digging.

Go all organic and you'll have a better chance of avoiding problems down the track. People really make a big deal about soil mixes, fair enough if thats your thing and dont get me wrong...I love refining my mix to try and make it better and better, but regardless what isn't really mentioned too much is that all you really need to do is buy bags of any good organic soil, mix a bit of compost( the best and easiest ive found is this stuff......works really well for me.. or worm castings if you can get your hands on them as well. Just a bit of either of them in some soil and bang you'll grow really nice weed. Throw some epsom salts and lime in with it for good measure if you can be bothered. What I'd say though with soil if your a little unsure with amounts, always use less and add or supplement later if you need. At least give your self the chance to fix the problem rather than have a mix that is doomed from the beginning and hard to correct.
