Hydroponic Tent Grow Room with Garden Set

I'm not quite sure if I did this in the right thread so feel free to move it, to let you know I'm a complete beginner and it will be based in my closet.

 

I found this: http://ourweed.com/marijuana-hydroponic-grow-room-with-garden, the description is it holds six pots includes 2x2x4 tent with mylar reflective interior, Yo-Yo light hanger, can filter 2600, digital thermometer/hygrometer, 4″ non-insulated ducting, a TD-100 fan, and a 150 Watt HPS light system. It says all I need to do is get seeds or clones (I wish I was lucky enough being in Australia to get clones) and I'll be set.

 

I wanted to know if anyone else has had experience with this before (a tent set that is), are there things that I need to add, is it legal for it to shipped here, what kind of growing technique should I use, what type of seeds should I use, is this any good at all and is there anything else I should know?

 

This for personal use not selling, sick of being ripped off, money stolen, hit and miss with dealers or getting sexually harassed...

There is plenty of setups you can buy online in Aus. I wouldnt go Ebay though. Alot of reputable hydro stores have online buying and they will ship to you discreatly in plain cardboard boxes. They are aware that people require stealth. So forget ebay. Buy quality from a decent hydro shop. Idealy you would want to visit one with cash and not leave a paper trail but sometimes that is not always possible. Once again this is where I rekon hydro shops are safer to buy from than ebay.

 

First time round I recomend hand water coco and drain to waste as the easiest and most efficient way to grow.

Thank you guys, would you have links that are Australian cannabis hydro sets? It'd be based in my closet because I have no where else to put it. I saw years ago there's customized kits out there that are amazing but I can't find that website anymore, it was specialized for hiding and having everything in it.

I want something that is customized for a closet, that has everything I need for successful budding and nothing I'll have to worry about.

I would go with the aussieponics one with just 1 or 2 plants in big pots of coco. Minimum 20l pots. You will need to add a carbon filter and centri fan on the exhaust. Passive intake will be ok for now, but look at a fan for the intake down the track. The simplyhydro one is good but you will need more lights, fans, plants and money to get the proper use out of it.

 

600w is a good start too. The tent isnt the best quality but it will be fine.

 

Some good quality brand names that I like are Homebox, Secret Jardin, Canna, House & Garden, Westaflex, Sunpulse, Phillips Son T Agro.

If you check out these products and compare to things you see you can get and idea of whats value for money etc.

How big is your closet and how many plants are you looking at growing?

 

Dont worry you will make mistake the first couple times around but that's why we're here to help You're going about it the right way in getting half decent gear up front.

Hi Cannasinthe, welcome to Oz Stoners.

 

The first thing you need to do is take a breather and decide you aren't going to rush this. Do your research (reading a few grow diaries similar to what you want to do will help) and you will end up much better off. This will give you a better idea of what equipment you need and of some different growing styles.

 

If you are trying to hide this from housemates it's probably just not going to work. It's not something that can be rushed either, a good amount of time and effort will reward you with a decent harvest.

 

Good luck with it, there is nothing better than growing your own and not having to associate with the kind of people you normally never would.
