Cannanut Rough (Includes making the ‘Cannanut’ oil)

Part A – Making the “Cannanut” oil

I take no credit for this part (making oil), just slimplified it with coconut oil. There is a more in depth process here on ozstoners somewhere but I'm too stoned to find it.

You will need –

  • Virgin coconut oil
  • Cannabis
  • Stove
  • Pot
  • Glass dish or container
  • Alfoil

Process –

  1. Break up the amount of cannabis you want to put in to your oil and spread it in a glass dish with alfoil over the top. Turn the oven on to 100-120 degrees and place glass dish in oven for about 25 minutes. It’ll be done once you’ve got a strong smell and it crumbles in the hand.
  2. Heat up enough coconut oil that will cover the cannabis in the bottom of the pot until it’s hot enough to fry with.
  3. Place the oven dried cannabis in the coconut oil and fry it for about 5 minutes or until the cannabis looks nice and crispy (fried).
  4. Strain the now cannanut oil into a bottle or container.
  5. Put aside to cool.
  6. BAKE!

Part B – Making the Cannanut Rough

I do take credit for this part :) Makes about 150g of Cannanut Rough.

The Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons of Cannanut oil
  • 5 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 5 tablespoons of finely grated coconut
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of Vanilla essence (optional)

The Preparation

  1. Mix the cocoa powder with cananut oil until thoroughly blended. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
  2. After filling the tray, place it in the refrigerator. After about ten minutes in the fridge, score it to make it easier to break if you are making a bar.
  3. Enjoy!

Feel free to add other things such as fruits or nuts etc... (with cherries it tastes like a Cherry Ripe!)
