Removing chlorine from tap water

Recommended Posts

well i just bought myself a reverse osmosis system and i am 2 weeks into flower using the water i dont think i will have any cal/mg defiicencies toch wood. me old man used to use the same water on his plants with base nutes with no dramas for a few years i guess i will find out shortly :bonghit: :bonghit:

Really can't beat RO water. Really good if your using beneficial bacterias ,enzymes e.t.c.

I wouldn't worry about cal/mag deficiencies ,all decent brand 2 parts will have sufficient quantities.

No one has mentioned Chloramine which is used in combination with Chlorine to kill bacteria in our tap water and can not be removed easily. They are both poison and toxic to all life forms and will kill beneficial plant symbionts that live on and inside plants and in the rhizosphere. Please read this link http://www.sawater.com.au/nr/rdonlyres/d31304e6-b5ac-410b-b6c4-7c2e016ff93e/0/chloraminesaquariums2008.pdf it will show you how to remove Chloramine,as well as Chlorine. The secret is in the water. Learn how to purify and condition your water for the benefit of your plants, fish and the beneficial microbes that make life on earth possible for humankind. :afro:
