colorado transplant

Question

Hello All!

I am a fresh transplant from colorado, just moved to the melbourne area. (I know......my wife made me do it!!!!!!!!!!!!) Anyways, I was managing a medical dispensary in colorado for about 3 years and have worked with literally hundreds of patients and thousands of strains to help treat literally hundreds of ailments and symptoms. I am well versed in everything medically related to cannabis and feel that I could help provide some great suggestions on many different topics, especially on the progressive applications that are being pioneered in the medicinal industry in the States right now, i.e. edibles, concentrates, growing, vaporizers, etc...

. PLEASE feel free to ask me anything you have questions on as I AM BORED OUT OF MY FREAKING MIND HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :twiddle: lol :twiddle: and I would love to make some friends who have common interests to mine as I am having trouble doing so: I thoroughly enjoy snowboarding, hiking, soccer, photography, exploring, concerts, good wine, excellent food, and good people.

Thanks to all and hello again! :thankyou:

Hey ct welcome aboad :)

I'm not fully up to date with the Medical Cannabis industry in the states but i do know that Colorado has or had overtaken Cali as the forefront of the movement. I've seen a few interesting doco's from the area and one that springs to mind is the one with the supposedly best ex narc crop busting cop who has now switched sides and is working as the chief tax inspector for grow ops in Boulder i think it was. Anyways i'm sure you have many interesting tales and i look forward to hearing some.

peace

c

Welcome ct :) It's great to hear from someone who has experience in the field.

If I may ask, can you give us an idea of the process involved in setting up a dispensary? What sort of red tape do you guys need to jump through for the licensing?

Welcome to the country and to the Oz Stoners forum. If you are bored and into snowboarding now is the time to do it!

Check out the conditions via the web cams at http://ski.com.au/snowcams/australia/vic/index.html

In brief, Baw Baw is the smallest and closest to Melbourne, but the snow cover is thin and can vary from day to day. Buller is further out, higher and usually develops a good snow base.

Peak snow conditions for the state are usually at Hotham (the resort with the highest altitude), but the most consistent groomed snow is at Falls Creek. Thanks to the water available for snow making there is always snow at Falls. Falls also has the best access to virgin snow... if that's what floats ya boat.

These aren't the only places to go for snow, just the ones that are currently suitable for snowboarding.
