New hydro setup - help

Recommended Posts

All lighting will have heat build up inside a grow area even cfl's.

The better the air flow through the growing area the lower temps you can keep.

A hps setup can used from start to finish, the Phillips Sun-T range give off both spectrums of ligh for both stages of growth, veg and bud.

Or you can use cfl for veg and the hps for budding...

CFL's will give off a little heat but depending on how many you have in there and the size of the room you wont need an inline fan. Just using a 12V computer fan as an exhaust would be fine but as ozzy said the more air flow the better.

You can flower with CFL's, just change the spectrum over although HPS would be best.

How big is your space?

The better the fan you can buy for for the exchange of air from the grow area the better off you will be.

But when it comes to budding your plants you will need something for smell controll, cannabis plants get quite smelly in bud and most ppl that walk your place will know the smell.

So smell controll is a big must, we dont want to have a post from you telling us you got busted because the plants where so smelly and ya done because of it.

I think you need to go and do a bit thinking about what you want to do and the cost of the setting up, you are better off being safe rather than sorry...
