I'm basically getting 50 grams a month from 250 Watt HPS in a standard size fridge, when pushed to the limit.....using 2.4 litre pots, and only Auto's.

She is a very lean setup designed to be efficient as possible.

Anyone can do it, It's not Rocket Science!

1 ounce a month is piece of cake

the rest of this post is directed at the thread starter

Autos are a great first plant to grow as they dont need manipulated light to trigger the flower stage as that is triggered by the age of the plant, for a lot of people having to set up timers and changing the lighting schedual can be pretty dunting, another reason is because you are not changing and manipulting the lighting schedual there is no real spike in your power usage relating to your light usuage.

They come in many sizes but the average plant can fit just about anywhere you have 1 meter of space, the feeding schedual on most autos is also very light so you are saving money and nutes not having to feed greedy pig strains, most are 8 - 10 weeks but the newer more sativa type autos and go from 16 - 20 weeks these are obviously what people are refering to when they use the term "super auto" and obviously get alot bigger than an average auto plant.

as already stated people with a short growing season need there plants in and out as soon as possible to avoid mold, rippers and copper choppers, this is where autos shine as people using them way are done ready and dusted b4 other growers are only just starting to harvest.

there are many many other reasons as to why people choose autos over reg plants... some people just like an early harvest while they wait for the reg plant to finish.

Kinda big call I guess, but Shroomy is still the real Auto King.

I've just hung on the back of the Old Boy so to speak. Shroomy can do much the same as me in the good old outdoors!

At the end of the day Auto's have come a long way and still have more to go.

Short fast potent is here already, and only 12 months ago, they still had a bad rep.

Now there are plenty of people having great results, and I'd like to think we are helping everyone to achieve this.

Personally I would like Auto's to develop in the area of Potency more so than yield. At the moment I see the greater yield developing

at the expence of time.....The Super Auto's now in development are taking longer than 10 weeks from seed and seem to lack potency.

Only time will tell if the potency, yield and 10 week time frame can develop into 1 regime. This I believe is brought about by the desire

to appeal to to Commercial growers......This in my belief is not what should transpire.

Meantime I will keep concentrating on Potency....after all we should only be producing enough to smoke for ourselves and friends right!

Hey I smoke plenty.... and these days more than half of it is is made into Hash...and thats after giving it away to well connected people as insurance ETC!...All from 250 Watt HPS in a pissy little fridge!

Ok thats in a perfect world......there will always be a need for sellers.....but I'd like to think that the Auto World be keep out of the hands of commercial

growers and the eyes of THE LAW.

Sorry for the rant but hey...WTF
