Why do people grow?

This is more of a response to the dickhead that was here earlier this morning, trying to abuse OS. Naturally his drug dealing arse got kicked off here straight away.

What people like him don't seem to understand is that growers like me ditched the dealer a long ago and want nothing to do with these parasites ever again.

I hated having to go to dealers when I was younger and thanks to prohibition these fuckers thrive making a living at the expense of others.

One thing I hate is people like him who try and exploit others for their own gain and or cause them harm.

I got no problem with people selling weed or " dealers" . Its a business they are trying to make $$ .

These people are providing a product that is in demand , not everyone can grow !

 

I bought of the same guy for 17 years, he grew a little when i 1st met him but generally he get a few pound to sell . Great bloke , knew more about dope then almost anyone i know, everything was weighed up never ever tried to rip people . Unfortunately he passed on to the other side a few years back .

 

The reason i would grow these days is because i lost a good mate and great "dealer" and had endure shit rip off crap ! I do have a problem with ripp off dogs !!

Weed not dried properly , moldy pot and shit not weighed properly the list is endless . Fuck if i go coles to get 100grams of ham i get 100 grams of ham ,not 90 grams but get charged for 100 .

With Weed you go buy a 1/4 and it weighs 7 grams in a bag that weighs 1 gram . If i paid 100 bucks for 1/4 and it is 7 grams in a bag , that fucking plastic bag just cost $14 . But what do you do ! I cant call the weed ombudsman . I wouldnt call that cops . A good flogging was always a option or grow your own not have to deal with all the BS

 

Why would i grow . Because good honest pot merchants are bloody hard to find .

Agreed there ae both good and bad dealers, and they are just there to fill the demand. I don't have a problem with dealers per se, but coming onto OS and trying to set up shop, no way GTFO.

i grow for a few reasons one being my medicine for my ibs and other health dramas , also if you grow your own ya know its flushed propley and dried propley. :bongon:

I grow because I can't afford to pay for the amount of weed I toke. Now though I would be lost without it, such a good hobby. I do have a problem with most dealers because honesty and reliability is hard to come by. They also don't help our cause as they are responsible for many hard handed tactics and solutions by the cops and government.

I grew because I did not want to pay over $200 an ounce for harvested plant material, I mean cmon!!!! I don't mind dealers, as long as you are not out to seriously fuck people over. But also it boiled down to my love of growing plants, and how fucking interesting the cannabis plant is and always will be!

Yer a few reasons i grow my own. Couple already bin mentioned- Good quality at cheap price, can choose which strain to smoke, love gardening and probably the main reason for growing- i got sick of getting fucked around by dealers who think they are Mr Asia
