Hello growers, good day to you all,

I have 5 plants around 5 weeks old (from seed) that have just been switched to 12/12 lighting about 5 days ago

2 x Skunk #1 - fem - sensei seeds

3 x White widow - fem -white label co.

I have noticed 2 issues with their leaves...

One looks like neut burn (mainly affecting the WW) (although it didnt have this during veg at similar EC)

The other im not sure, but im fearing spider mites - (yellow dots and holes on leaves)

So they are running in a flood/drain setup,

in hydroton,

250mm net pots

under a 400W MH bulb (cooltube)

PH is between 5.7 - 6.2

EC is around 600 ppm/ 1.2 - dutchmaster gold range (still feeding veg neuts in first week of flower)

Temps between 17 C - 22 C

What do you reckon?

Also the WW have some seriously wide leaves, and I thought they were sativa dominant ?

just a funky pheno?

Thanks,

Pleb.

nice im growing some sensi skunk #1 right now

so stinky

dont think the problems nute burn , your levels are low , infact id pump them up a bit

last 2 could be physical damage , moving them or insect or something like that .you would know if you had mites.

i wouldnt be too woried about it if thats all there is . the look very healthy

Hi Pleb,

That ain't no mite damage and those pics are nice clear closeups and there aint no mite shit (faeces) nor webs, when you have mites you'll know. Those babies are clear.

Personally I would not be stressing over the little bit of yellowing on the leaves either, when the whole leaf is yellow or you can see it spreading from the base of the leaf up to the tips I might start looking deeper but all is looking fine

I'd have to agree with Bluntman on the damage being physical, but again nothing to stress about. Also as Ozzy said a small raise in temp would help overall growth, but again nothing to stress about.

Keep us updated, we'll keep your stress levels in check and advise you if there is something to stress about.

Good luck with it

Hi

Just had a look at you pics nice and clear, I also have ww and yes leaves are wide and stems are hollow. I must agree they don't look to bad, tho the 1st pic shows slight leave curl which genraly shows nuturent is high, the yellow on 2nd pic also an indication of nutrient been high. Not to serious tho. Does your run off run back to same tank.. Plants will only take what it needs then dump the rest so be sure to flash now and then specially if in doubt it want hurt just don't panic and over water them that would generally show really deep green leaves garbage looking. I would personally would not run anything below 600 HPS all the best DAZMAN.
