does ne body know where i can find cheap flourescent or hps lights. I am really low on cash flow and dont feel like paying 130 dollars for a descent hps light and i have found a 100 watt flourescents thats like 159 dolklars thats way to much for me if you can please tell me some good sites to goto that sells cheap flourescent of hps lights

Are you in the US smokedogg420? Cos I don't know too many places selling hid systems for 130, let alone flouros...

 

Try a local trading post, or save up mate. It's more than worth the expense when you have yourself a cheap personal supply.

 

Put a buck or two in a tin every time you get a deal in the meantime, and you'll likely save up enough to buy a light in no time.

 

You can put together your own light, as gazza has said, but it's not usually recommended unless you know exactly what you are doing. Not a newbie task IMO. But if you want to, you can usually cut down significantly on the cost of a hid by building the ballast and reflector yourself. But still, don't do it if you're even slightly unsure about the process. It's not wise to screw with electricity. She's a nasty beast when you piss it off.

 

Aaaanyway, check out trading posts and second hand/pawn shops, you might get lucky and find a hid system for cheap there, but replace the globe and make sure you've seen the unit in operation.

 

Honestly tho, just save up man.
