anyone have experience with light spreader

cool, stix, Ill be interested to see your verdict, atm Im not really happy with the shade on my cool tube, It might do a cupboard area. I find that it really cant suppy an even spreadof light over the 1.4x1.4 area.

I think I have the same spreader, made by ajusta wing.

They boast better light ditribution and being able to grow all year round.

We'll see.

veg (1.0x1.0) has one of these

with the little wings that attach to the side . the wings do nothing , i removed them . it spreads more than enough light for veg though

 

the flower tent (1.2x1.2) has one of these with a basic white external reflector that attaches to the tube . it does ok for reflection .

if I had 1.4x1.4 i would go 2x600w cool tubes . even without the reflector they should cover that pretty well . perhaps a larger air cooled reflector instead of tube might work better for you instead if you want to stick to 1 light.
